Sonja is a provisional psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology at the University of Melbourne in 2022 and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Sonja has worked across community and private settings conducting individual counselling, group work, and conducting school visits for the benefit of her clients. She has considerable experience and interest in working with children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety, ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Sonja also has experience delivering cognitive and learning assessments and completing reports and recommendations that are helpful and tailored.
She strives to empower her clients to become strong, confident individuals by providing them with the tools to navigate through the challenges they may face. These tools include the development of executive functioning, emotion regulation, social, and daily functioning skills.
Sonja employs a warm, caring, non-judgmental approach to establish a strong therapeutic relationship and is able to engage a broad of clients to facilitate open discussion of their emotions and personal concerns.
