Sherena is a Registered Provisional Psychologist working with the assessment and treatment of youth clients from age 18-28 for stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, and self-esteem.
Originally from Singapore, Sherena is bilingual (fluent in English and Mandarin) and has strong interest in working with clients of different cultural backgrounds, trauma and differential diagnosis. She is able to demonstrate cultural sensitivity for those with diverse backgrounds as she understands the unique challenges faced by those who have moved or migrated to Australia.
In her therapeutic work Sherena uses a warm, open-minded, flexible and empathetic approach when working with clients. She is passionate about empowering individuals to become better versions of themselves through a client-centred and collaborative framework and has been trained in empirically validated approaches tailored to individual clients.
