She has a background in counselling individuals across the life span in various community and educational settings across South-Asia and Australia.

Onaiza takes a gentle person-centered approach, providing a safe space for individuals to be themselves and feel supported. She prefers to work alongside clients to facilitate meaningful growth by developing and achieving goals which are important to them through evidence-based interventions. She acknowledges that change is often difficult and helps clients draw on their inner strengths, gain a greater understanding of themselves and their surroundings while empowering them to make positive changes to lead more fulfilling lives in a supportive and friendly environment. Most importantly, giving feedback which can sometimes be daunting is always encouraged and welcomed as it is a vital part of working together.
