Niki is a provisional psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

She has experience working across clinical, educational and advocacy settings providing psycho-educational assessments, individual and group interventions, and consultation services to a range of clients.

Niki offers a warm, empathetic, and practical approach to therapy grounded in evidence-based practice. Niki utilises strategies and principles from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Humanistic Psychology that are flexibly tailored toward the needs of the client. She is passionate about supporting clients to develop insight into their inner world, build resilience and achieve their desired goals.

Niki has expertise in assisting clients with a variety of presentations across the lifespan including:

  • Anxiety (inc. Generalised Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, Selective Mutism, Specific Situational Phobias)
  • Depression
  • Stress and Coping (inc. work and academic stress)
  • Low self-esteem
  • Perfectionism
  • Neurodevelopmental differences including ADHD and Autism
  • Parenting challenges
  • Adjustment difficulties
  • Interpersonal challenges (inc. romantic relationship issues, peer conflict, divorce, family issues)
  • Emotional and behavioural regulation difficulties (inc. anger management)
  • Learning problems (inc. SLDs such as dyslexia)

Niki also has a special interest in working with individuals and families of those with Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and is currently conducting a study exploring the experiences of parents raising a child with ADHD.

 

Niki is currently able to offer appointments on Mondays and Thursdays.
