Jacky is a Registered Psychologist that completed her Master of Professional Psychology in 2020. She has also completed a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (fourth year) and Bachelor of Criminology and Psychology. During Jacky’s training she has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of presentations, including depression, anxiety, disordered eating, school refusal, perfectionism, OCD, interpersonal difficulties, low self esteem  and general life concerns. This has allowed Jacky to gain a comprehensive understanding of clinical interventions and assessments. Jacky has a good understanding of and enjoys working within the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing frameworks. Jacky employs a collaborative approach with her clients, aiming to develop a strong and positive therapeutic relationship. She uses evidence-based treatment models to support her clients in better understanding their concerns, in developing and reaching treatment goals and to identifying and building on their strengths.

Jacky is passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment to enable her client’s to feel comfortable to express themselves during therapy. Jacky’s objective for her client’s is that they feel empowered and develop the skills that will facilitate positive change in their lives.Jacky has a particular interest in working with adolescents and adults (between the ages of 13 to 50 years).
