Registered Psychologist
Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar
Felicity is a passionate and personable psychologist. Throughout her clinical training, she gained valuable experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including adult and paediatric rehabilitation, adolescent and adult mental health, and neurology.
During her rotations at Epworth Rehabilitation and in the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Felicity conducted cognitive assessments in children and adults who had experienced an acquired brain injury (a stroke or traumatic brain injury). She also worked with clients in an ongoing capacity, and provided strategies and recommendations to support their cognitive difficulties which were identified on assessment. In addition, Felicity has worked in the headspace Early Psychosis Program, as well as the psychiatry outpatient clinic at the Alfred Hospital. In these settings, she provided assessment services to adolescents and adults who presented with features of psychosis or other mental health issues. Finally, Felicity completed her specialised internship in the neurology outpatient clinic at the Alfred Hospital, where she conducted cognitive assessments for clients with a range of neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and epilepsy.
Felicity has a particular interest in the assessment and diagnosis of neurological conditions, and is available for neuropsychological assessment services. Her assessments involve a combination of psychometric testing and detailed history-taking, in order to capture a holistic perspective of an individual’s cognitive strengths and difficulties. Felicity is also passionate about providing intervention and support to clients who are experiencing cognitive difficulties due to a range of psychiatric and neurological conditions, as well as providing counselling to clients with a range of mental health issues or life stressors. Her counselling approach typically combines elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness training. Felicity uses a person-centred approach, and places emphasis on developing a strong therapeutic relationship, to create a safe environment for clients to achieve their therapeutic goals.
