Emma is a provisional psychologist completing her Master of Professional Psychology at Deakin University and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Emma is committed to helping support individuals with their mental health concerns in a warm, accepting, non-judgmental and open manner.
Emma understands the importance of trust and the meaning of having a safe and honest space to explore values, thoughts, feelings, goals, and beliefs so that meaningful outcomes can be achieved. She strives to empower clients to develop insight and a set of tools and strategies they can use in life.
Emma comes to DS Psychology with a background in social support work with older adults where she gained insight into anxiety, depression, adjustment issues and carer-stress. She is passionate about working with young adults, adults and older adults for anxiety, depression, adjustment/transitions, relationship conflict and workplace stress/bullying.
