Emily is a Registered Psychologist who brings to DS Psychology Group a professional and engaging warmth to her clients. Working with adults and adolescents, Emily has had extensive experience working in private practice, community mental health settings, hospitals, schools, and forensic environments. Emily has gained experience working with a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, life transition and adjustment issues, stress, personality disorders and relationship difficulties.
Emily’s approach to her practice utilizes a combination of evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. Emily is passionate about working collaboratively with clients to create a safe and supportive environment for change.
