Betina has been an AHPRA-registered psychologist for over 15 years, and holds a Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology. She has held senior clinical and management roles in the public health system, as well as conducted private assessments and therapeutic intervention for a range of client groups, and for a variety of organisations (e.g. Department of Health and Human Services; Department of Veterans Affairs, Transport Accident Commission; Civil Aviation Safety Authority; Department of Justice). She is also an experienced senior researcher with a particular interest in health service delivery models using consumer codesign principles, and therapeutic intervention using telehealth.
With a warm and engaging style, Betina works collaboratively to understand the personal experience and concerns of each client. She primarily works with adults and older adults who are experiencing changes in thinking and memory due to a variety of reasons (e.g. acquired brain injury, neurological illness or injury, mental health conditions). Betina is experienced in neuropsychological assessment for a range of reasons, including characterising cognitive strengths and weaknesses, for diagnostic purposes, and to develop rehabilitation strategies for education and employment. She is also experienced in conducting assessment of decision-making capacity for medicolegal purposes.
Betina is available for neuropsychological assessments on Saturday mornings.
